The Burnin' Sands have opened for: Gogol Bordello from New York, Shamie Shamie from Detroit, Souljah Fyah from Edmonton, JFK and the Conspirators from Winnipeg, Skavanjah from Saskatchewan, The Mullets from nowhere.
The Burnin' Sands have performed at the following Edmonton venues: the Sidetrack Cafe, The Urban lounge and whiskey grill, the Black Dog, Dante's Bistro, the Fox, Duster's Pub, Rendevous Pub, JJs Pub.

can be, one must be.” ~ Abraham Maslow. Tyrell is well versed with many instruments.
His main focus is drums, and also concentrates on guitar, vocals
and bass. Tyrell uses music as a medium to channel his artistic
energy, emotions and inspiration.
Influences: Tool, The Doors, Bob Marley, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin,
Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Early System of a Down, the 60s
surf era, to name a few.
