The Ventures
The Ventures were born in 1958 under the name The Versatones by the founding members Bob Bogle & Don Wilson. The Ventures still play with Leon Taylor, son of the drummer Mel Taylor, who died few years ago.

The Surfaris
The Surfaris blew the world away with their crazy surf garage sound in the early 60's. Bob Fuller on lead guitar was only 15 years old when they recorded WIPE OUT biggest surf hit in the history of instrumental rock.

Dick Dale & the Deltones
Dick Dale is the king of surf guitar well known for his loco pickin'. His music was re-popularized with the movie PULP FICTION which featured Misirlou, Bustin' Surfboard, Bullwinkle Pt.2 and Surf Rider performed by the Lively Ones.

The Pyramids
The Pyramids is a lesser-known band but one with it’s own distinct style and sound. They were considered a hard-core band in 1968. In today’s terms they can be classified as a rock band with a few heavy parts. They are very original and the Burnin’ Sands love to play their tunes. Described by François as acoustic techno of the late 60's.

The Torquays
The Torquays was formed originally with one of the members of the Fireballs. Torquay was a song written in the early 60's by Gerry Gordon who was in the first line up of the torquays (hence the name).

The Marketts
The Marketts is band from 1961. The band was lead by Mike Gordon, but the band was more the brainchild of Joe Saraceno. The Marketts were very popular between 1961 n' 1985. Big hits include the original "batman theme".

The Lively Ones
The Lively Ones are born with the original set up end of 1962, but like many surf band they use to have different name before... Like The Expressos, who were formed by two members of the line up.
